Highschool Sweethearts

Molly & Clay are such a great couple. They dated in highschool and college and their love for each other is so authentic. It was our joy to photograph their wedding day in Alabama at the Sonnet House. Their wedding party was huge & so fun... 11 bridemaids & groomsman. Most were graduates from University of Alabama. Ya gotta love the enthusiasm in the south! Molly's dress was handmade by the fabulous dress designer Heidi Elnora. Check out her gowns- she is awesome and has stores in both Atlanta & Birmingham.

The wedding was outside and the alter was beautifully located under the trees- just like something you would read in a novel. The party was fun and full of great dancing and mingling with all their family friends. We wish you too the best as you move to Los Angelos & start a new life! J& L

Molly came to our studio in April to have some bridal portraits done. You can see more of those on our website. She is so gorgeous!

Lori's First Blog Post- John is CPP?

Hi- I am the "behind the scenes girl" of John Gentry Photography. My name is Lori, I am the business manager and lucky for me- John's wife! :)

I have decided it is time to start some blog chatting and brag about my talented boss. He is so busy that he forgets to post his cool new work and special announcements. So here we go with my blog post #1

John has recently earned the mark of excellence as a Certified Professional Photographer in May 2009. Less than 3% of all photographers are certified. He achieved this designation after meeting rigorous requirements measuring his artistic and technical competence by the Professional Photographic Certification Commission. To become a C.P.P one must complete a written exam, image evaluation and adhere to a stringent code of conduct. I am very proud of him. Our clients can have full confidence in John's work. He continually studies new techniques and takes classes to achieve new levels of quality art. CONGRATS JOHN!
