Such an amazing day for the end of January for a destination wedding in Nashville!! It was still blistering cold but you guys were incredible to handle the elements so we could get some wonderful photos for you to remember. The entire day just has such a sweet flow to it and we had a lot of fun at Scarritt Bennet and Union Station Hotel. 2 of the best locations to have a wedding in Nashville!! Lori and I want to wish you the absolute best and really want to hang out again when you come back to visit.

Courtney & Doug - Wedding

It was a warm fall wedding day in Nashville for Doug and Courtney. What a special day, the weather was mild, and the risk to have the wedding ceremony outside at The Ruby in downtown Nashville was so worth it! Not only are Doug and Courtney special people I have been good friends with Doug for several years. It always means a great deal when you are able to work with friends and be apart of such an incredible first day in the life of their new marriage! It really meant a lot to me and was beyond honored.

Heather & Steven - Engagement

When we meet a new couple we try to encourage an engagement session. This way we get to spend some time with our couples and get to know them and show how we will be doing some of our day. A dress rehearsal of sorts. We were at the studio shooting and the best word I can use to describe our session was ..... FUN!!!

Yes, Fun! Fun is an understatement when hanging out with Heather and Steven! You guys are a great couple who were way more entertaining for me than I for you. I know I'm the one that is suppose to be doing cart wheels and getting you guys to laugh but it was really exciting capturing the relationship and love the two of you have for each other. It was really great doing this "practice run" we call an engagement shoot. We will have an absolute blast on the wedding day!! Can't wait!!!

This was a great opportunity to photograph for Blackbird Theater and work at David Lipscomb's University's Shamblin Theater. This play is actually one of my favorites and I really enjoy the story of Mozart. I won't say that about many tragedies but I really connect with the characters and particularly the way the story is written.

Baby Samuel

Samuel - Newborn Session

Congratulations Roger and Cheryl!!! Baby Sam has arrived and ready for pictures. This was a very special shoot for us and happy to be able to make great images of the little man. He has amazing hand control for a newborn and was cool to see how interested and alert he was for our photo shoot. We got him to rest so we could take some fun shots with his soccer ball. Like Dad he will surely be a great soccer player! Can't wait to see him in action in a few years!!

Annie - 8 Month Session

We had a great time with little Annie!!! She took a little bit to warm up to me but when she did she was all smiles! :-)) It is always so rewarding to create great images for families to treasure and share even when you believe the shoot isn't going to plan. Sometimes all it takes is a little patience and a bottle of milk in the studio to calm that baby down.

Connor - Newborn Session
